OEM Paints & Auto Refinishes Resins

D500-70 is a short oil coconut Alkyd with excellent yellowing resistance. It exhibits good gloss and hardness, when used in combination with amino resin in forced drying paints. It imparts excellent colour retention, flexibility and durability to nitro-cellulose lacquer film. Main applications are OEM paints, stoving enamels for motor cars, machineries and kitchen appliances. It is also used in clear & pigmented nitro cellulose lacquers for furniture, motor car and motorcycles.

Short oil coconut Resin

D515-70 is low viscosity short oil Dehydrated Castor Oil alkyd, which gives an excellent colour, gloss, flexibility and durability up-to 150 oC in stoving enamels. This could also be used safely in nitrocellulose products.

Short oil chain stopped Resin

Polycoat D550-70 is a low viscosity short oil chain stopped alkyd based on Soya bean oil. Primarily a monobasic acid is used to change the degree of polymerization and molecular structure of conventional alkyd. This resin is ideal for auto refinish enamels & OEM paints. Its rapid response in the presence of urea or melamine resins indicates its suitability for low energy baking finishes. It can also be used in hammer & metallic finishes.

Amino Resin

Polycoat D 860-60 (Melamine - Formaldehyde Resin) is a high viscosity, rapid curing amino resin with very good color and color retention in stoving enamels. It exhibits very high gloss and good build in Nitro Cellulose Lacquers. It has excellent stability. It is mainly used in good quality stoving enamels for general use in refrigerators and kitchen appliances etc., stoving primers, nitro-cellulose polishing lacquers and all types of Auto refinishes.

Urea Formaldehyde Resin

Polycoat D 960-60 (Urea - Formaldehyde Resin) is of medium viscosity, rapid curing with good color and color retention in stoving enamels. It exhibits very high gloss and good build in Nitro Cellulose Lacquers. It has excellent stability. Used in good quality stoving enamels for general use, stoving primers and polishing lacquers and all types of auto refinishes. Excellent for low baked finishes.

Maleic Resin

Polycoat DH 7 is a pale, hard, high melting point, alcohol insoluble maleic resin. The major applications are high grade pale lacquer for wood finishes, lacquer sealers, printing inks, over print varnishes, enamels and varnishes and film hardening component in alkyds.
